"......a club, which punches well above its weight.........."
Photographic judge commenting on Junction 36 Photo Club (HDPS) successes in external competitions.

“Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.”

Junction 36 Photo Club

Based in South Cumbria Junction 36 Photo Club is a friendly active camera club that caters for all levels of experience with lectures, members evenings and outings throughout the year. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the meetings are informal.

These are combined with competitions, both internal and, inter club battles, in fact, Junction 36 Photo Club, in its previous guise as Holme and District Photographic Society, has a growing reputation, winning many battles with other clubs in the South Cumbria, North Lancashire locality.

Practical evenings and an annual trip away complete a busy yearly program.

Nothing is compulsory, but members are encouraged to get involved, it's a great way to improve your photography.

Potential new members may attend one meeting free of charge, and then join or pay a visitor fee of £3 per meeting.
